The purpose of this website is to inform and request the support of the citizens of Minden, Louisiana regarding the “Proposed rezoning of the property at 101 Homer Road.”
Please read the attached proposal that we have or will deliver to all the City Council members, the Mayor and the Minden Regional Planning Commission members. If you agree this is a project that will benefit the residents and the City of Minden, we would request that you send a letter to each of the City Council members, the Mayor and the members of the Minden Regional Planning Commission in support of our plan and deliver them to the mayor’s office
at 520 Broadway, Minden, Louisiana as soon as possible. In addition, your presence at
10:00 AM
for the Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at City Hall and
at 7:00 PM
for the City Council meeting on Monday, December 3, 2007 will be very important. Everyone is invited to attend these meetings. It’s not just about Minden…it’s about our rights as individual citizens of this great country. |

The U.S. Constitution and the law are on our side and:
- We support the constitutionally guaranteed protection of the private property owner’s right to use his property unencumbered by unjust regulation.
- We support economic development and new jobs for Minden.
- We stand for the preservation of historically significant sites and buildings
- ...and we believe that the rights and history of ALL people should be protected and preserved.
We need your help and support to let our city officials know that we must look to the future while still remembering and honoring the past. Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren deserve a future filled with opportunities for the future as well as a legacy of the past to remember. |
